Description
The 16” Comet two-piece basin’s core design is a unique bell shape that creates more space around the pump to prevent short cycling and increase the sump pump’s life. Its injection-molded polyethylene shell fits a single sump pump and gives it excellent protection under pressure, and will not crack or deform in the event of backfill. The modular, twist & lock design allows for easy assembly in crawl spaces where space can be extremely limited. The basin is capped off with a two-piece clear lid sealed with a gasket for convenient access and inspection and protection from water vapor, odors, and radon. The lid itself comes with sealed cord pass-throughs, discharge line grommets, and a Dranjer drain that comes pre-installed. As a bonus, the Comet features a crawl space liner retaining ring for easy attachment for sealed spaces.
